BUCHENWALD CONCENTRATION CAMP, NEAR WIEMAR: Ext of camp. HSs of the area. Red Cross trucks from Switzerland enter the camp grounds. Male Survivors leave the camp. (Commentator notes that nationalities and prison numbers were tatooed on the stomachs of the inmates CU, several of the dead. CUs, faces of the living inmates; starved bodies of the victims, Bodies outside crematory. Trucks loaded with bodies. CU, one of the weapons used by the SS guards upon the prisoners. MSS, numerous ovens of the crematory. The firm name shows plainly on the oven door. Bone ash in a pile. This is the final reduction of the cremated bodies. German civilians march to camp, many smiling. HSs, civilians entering camp. Cut to, German civilians viewing display of parchments of human skin, lampshade made from human skin skin stretched and etched upon, and two shrunken heads; all trophies of the Nazis. DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP: AV, "factory of human horrors", Dachau. (Up to 30,000 persons were entombed at one time at this camp.) The starved, horrifying bodies of the few remaining inmates of the camp. Faces of the inmates. Dead prisoners in boxcars; bodies of those who died in transit. Masses of bodies inside building discovered by the liberators. LS, clothing of the prisoners hung outside building in which prisoners were gassed.
