Reel 2 -- Fi-103. 24 December 1942. 1) PS night launching of the Fi-103 showing light from exhaust tracking flight of the missile -- light disappears in distant bg. Fi-103. 4 January 1943. 2) PS 1aunching of V-1 showing twin flares ignited on tail section of the missile for tracking of the missile meter on side of film registering flight of same. Camera follows missile out across water. Unidentifiable German aircraft appears in scene following missile. Missile disappears in haze in bg. Fi-103. 13 January 1943. 3) PS launching of V-1 -- camera follows missile in flight using smoke trail and signal flare attached to rear of the missile -- missile continues in flight across ice and snow covered water. 4) PS high speed camera recording of the Fi-103 launching. Fi-103. V-17. 11 March 1943. 5) PS Fi-103 launching. 6) PS Fi-1O3 launchings. Missile nose section flare attached to same showing shower of sparks falling away from nose section of the missile as it is launched.
